Necrotic fibroid

48 yo F presented with abdominal pain s/p uterine artery embolization for multiple fibroids.

Routine CT shows small bowel obstruction, with 7.8 cm mass near transition point. On spectral analysis, there is no iodine uptake in this mass, and is consistent with necrotic fibroid. Obstruction was managed conservatively, and patient discharged uneventfully.
