More subtle PE
This case illustrates the power of perfusion maps... makes detection of subsegmental emboli very easy, and really increases your confidence when you call them.
I have attached mutiple double-oblique screenshots, from same exam. Notice that the emboli are hard to see even when the conventional CT image is optimized for detection.
Notice how easy it is to find the emboli when you look at the perfusion defect on the fused iodine density image, and tract it back to the vessel...
