Small Bowel injury

Trauma with "seat belt" sign, and positive FAST.

CT with iodine density overlay shows multiple non-perfused loops of small bowel in the right lower quadrant.

Note the the terminal ileum and colon are perfused.

Bucket handle injury to terminal ileum with 20 cm ischemic segment of terminal ileum (approximately 20 cm proximal to IC valve) found on surgery, with subsequent primary resection and anastomosis.
